The following oath is to be taken upon commencement of any bachelor party:
 

For the Lads:

We the Mates of (state his name) do solemnly swear that as a gents of the emerging world we will respect and honor my brothers wishes not reveal the happenings of this evening. In taking this oath I understand that breaking it will result in punishment that could include castration by way of a dirty, dull, spoon as well as suffering from life long brewers droop. If asked about the happenings of the evening I shall reply:
 
"We Boozed, watched a re-run of the 95 rugby World Cup and cooked boerie on the braai. The groom got really drunk. His grandfather was there".
